This piece announced Pistils’ 1% for the Planet impact for 2020, profiling our non-profit partners. I was most excited to share the purchase of carbon offsets to outweigh the unavoidable emissions associated with our shipping operations. The goal was to celebrate our commitment to the environment, educate our community about sustainability, and build brand loyalty through the shared value of sustainability.

This long-form article was paired with a product launch, with the goal of building brand value through a fun, free DIY project, while ultimately steering readers to purchase a flagship product (which I had the pleasure of co-designing). Strong SEO keywords, pinnable images, products links, and CTAs are featured throughout to drive conversion.


3 - Brand identity

After leading a collaborative, company-wide discovery process, I rewrote Pistils’ brand identity statements, keeping true to company’ roots while positioning it to forge new paths within a changing industry.
